Journaling has been a big part of my journey with grief and I'd like to share and inspire you to give it a try. This week is the beginning of a new journey for me and hopefully you as well.
I will be doing weekly Lifestreams on Monday mornings on my Facebook page Nature of Grief.
Today I give a very brief introduction into Journaling and show you a few of the journals that I have for different areas of my life. A grief journal is a lovely and accessible way for you to manage mental chatter that can become overwhelming when going through loss. You can pick up something very cheaply, any note book will do or even use your phone or computer to write down your thoughts.
During each moon cycle we will have a different focus. Now that we have entered a New Moon cycle it is my intention for us to focus on Gratitude. This can be a difficult area to look at. But with practice we can begin to see more and more things to be thankful for, you can start as small as you like and just let it flow.
This week I have asked you to spend a few minutes each day, before bed is best, to jot down One thing that you Love about Yourself. If you think of more, please write them all down.
Below is the Lifestream from today. I also draw a card for us from a beautiful new deck I picked up a couple of weeks ago in Glastonbury. I hope you enjoy the video and join me in this journey.
Please do comment below how you are getting on and if you feel drawn to, share your experiences with journaling.
